A little bit more about me.

I am a Capricorn sun, Gemini moon, and Cancer rising.

I am a Projector – Human Design.

My Ayurveda Dosha is Vata, with some Pitta tendencies.



These are all different tools and ways of finding out more about myself. All I knew growing up was my sign, I am a Capricorn. If I am being honest, I have some shadow around being Capricorn- that it was somehow boring. Discovering these different archetypes, and learning more about each one, has allowed me to embrace my inner makeup. They are also amazing tools to look at the other people in your life. Maybe more understanding of why they do the things they do. I’ll share some links below incase you want to look up your info!


I would classify myself as a homebody. I love being in my own space. Majority of the time I would rather stay home, but I do get a wild hair every now and then. I love being out in nature, mainly taking walks. I really enjoying hiking, but I must push myself to go sometimes. Afterwards, I am always glad that I went. I know I will start to crave nature more and more.


I currently live in Colorado, right outside of Denver. It is a beautiful state, but I am over the snow. I am originally from Arizona and man have I realized how much I need sunshine in my life. It completely affects my mood- which I am sure a lot of people can say. The sun brings healing and warmth into my life. Even just the act of stepping into the sun and feeling the rays heat my skin. Its magical. I have lived in Chicago for a short time. Loved the city and did not make enough of an effort to make it home. Before Colorado, my boyfriend and I lived in Pittsburgh for a year. His job has moved us around a little. Pittsburgh in the summer was beautiful, green, and lush. Overall, there was not enough sunshine for us there. One day I believe we will end up back in Arizona…or by water.


I enjoy cooking and baking at home. I have loved baking for a long time. I’m pretty sure it was early high school days, if not before, that I started playing around with baking. I made different types of cookies cakes from scratch. I even made this big cake that looked like a cheeseburger for my friend’s birthday BBQ party. That was one of the first cakes I went all out. My mom is an amazing baker (and decorator, gardener, cook). The words “Martha Stewart” were used many times to describer her. I assume this is where my interests have stemmed from. I have really loved finding fun yummy recipes for baking, there are so many out there (I’ll link some of my favorite sites below). I would love to get back into cakes and cake decorating, vegan style. Cooking and baking can be a challenge sometimes in our house. Sometimes I get those – I do not feel like cooking days. But also, I eat vegan and my boyfriend does not. I have had to play around with some meals to make them suitable for each of us. Usually it is a dairy free dish that I can add meat to. Curries and soups do well. He also is a good sport and will eat vegan dishes from time to time. Then some nights we each just make our own meal, or he cooks and roasts up some veggies for me- which is one of my favorites! When it comes to baking, he is always willing to try my vegan desserts. Though sometimes he would rather have a “normal” cookie or cake. His favorite are these lemon sugar cookies that I will make from time to time (will also link below).


My favorite ways to move my body are barre and pilates. I was a dancer growing up and working out had always been a priority for me. I have tried many different kinds- boxing, hot yoga, spinning, running, cross fit (for two weeks), and gym workouts. Once I started barre and pilates, there was no going back. I realized the heavy impact workouts I was doing, were not right for me and my body. Barre and reformer pilates are low impact workouts that give me amazing results. I could go on and on about how much I stand behind these workouts. Recently, I have fallen back in love with yoga too, typically a non-heated practice. Something my body has been craving and missing is dance. I need to listen and start shaking my stuff! …but really. Whether it is finally downloading tik tok to learn an online dance, or just moving to some music, I am making the commitment. You heard it here first!
